HEAR YE, HEAR YE!: ATTENTION ALL WRITERS, POETS, QUEERS, UNICORNS AND MISCREANTS

Reading Queer (RQ) is searching for six South-Florida-based creative writing instructors to lead a series of community-based writing workshops.

All writers who are committed to teaching from a queer lens are invited to submit proposals for innovative workshops that advance our mission to transform the lives of the queer community through the act & the art of creative writing. Proposals focusing on underserved communities and populations will be given special consideration. All instructors will receive a teaching stipend of $250.

Please submit a brief bio, curriculum vitae and proposal (approx. 500 words) to neil [at] readingqueer.org by January 15th, 2014. Proposals should include a detailed description of the workshop – including reading list, if applicable – as well as a brief overview of your teaching style and philosophy.

All inquiries and concerns should be directed to the Complaints Department via carrier pigeon. If your pigeons are tired, email our Programming Director and part-time dragon slayer: jose [at] readingqueer.org.

Also, consider supporting our mission and donate to Reading Queer.
