“Drifting: A Theatrical Exquisite Corpse.”

Reading Queer co-presents, in collaboration with Girls’ Club, The Krane and Panther Coffee, “Drifting: A Theatrical Exquisite Corpse.”

In “Drifting”, Vanessa Garcia draws from the surrealist tradition of the exquisite corpse, a collaborative exercise using words and images to construct a figure or a phrase. Now, the exquisite corpse shows up in theatrical form–for a night that includes dance, performance art and traditional forms of theatre. The collaborators include Ivonne Batanero, Nicole Stodard, Carey Briana Hart, Christina Frigo, Sheri L. Flanders, Belaxis Buil, Patricia Margarita Hernandez, Leonardo Valencia and David Brieske.

“Drifting: A Theatrical Exquisite Corpse” is free and open to the public. Takes place in front of Panther Coffee Wynwood Friday, December 6th, 9:00 pm @ Panther Coffee 2390 NW 2nd Avenue. It’s Art Basel, so arrive early to enjoy the chaos. For more information, visit our Facebook event invite here.

See you there,
